MPSC Rajyaseva Exam 2013: Basic Study Plan

As you all know that MPSC Rajyaseva Exam is among the toughest exams in India. To succeed in this exam, all you need is sustained efforts with intelligent preparation. This exam is impossible to crack without these two things.

Please answer my basic question, before we go any further. Why do you want to succeed in this exam?

Some of you may say “I want to join government service as there is no guarantee of jobs in private sector”. Some may say that “I want to serve the nation and the society”. That’s true. Some may say, “I can utilize my skills and education for betterment of the society, etc.” This is also true. All of your high moral aims are excellent and you should have them for the sake of country’s progress and betterment of the society.

And how can you achieve them? Yes, of course by clearing MPSC/UPSC exams. But, is it so simple to succeed in these exams? Is it a one month’s honeymoon? Is it so simple that one can sit for hours together for few weeks? For some, the answer for the latter question could be either Yes or No. But, tell me honestly, is it so simple? Your answer could and should be “NO”. Good, excellent dear. You are now on the success path.

I am very very busy with the writing of 3rd edition of MPSC Success Mantra – The Complete Manual but thought why not to take a small break and give you a quick small basic plan of 1 year preparation for the MPSC/UPSC 2012 and 2013 exams.

So boys and girls, here it is:

As of now, i.e. Dec 2011, you have 14 months in hand till you will be appearing in Prelims exam in Feb 2013.

As of now, you may have collected your basic books for Mains. If not, then do it NOW.

To appear in Prelims 2013, you have to prepare for Mains exam first and then Prelims and then again for Mains. How? Here is the explanation.

First, compare the syllabus for Prelims and Mains and underline what is for Mains and what is for Prelims.

2011: Dec = 1 month

2012: Jan to Dec = 12 months

2013: Jan = 1 month

From Dec 2011 to Sep 2012:  Study Rigorously and prepare notes

Dec 2011 : MPSC- English & Marathi subjects (UPSC: English & Marathi & Essay)

Jan 2012 :  General Studies Paper I

Feb 2012:  General Studies Paper II

March 2012:  Revise notes (GS I and II)

April 2012 :  General Studies Paper III

May 2012 :  General Studies Paper IV

Jun 2012: Revise notes (GS III and IV)

Jul 2012: Revise English & Marathi subjects

Aug 2012:  Revise notes (GS I and II)

Sep 2012: Revise notes (GS III and IV)

From Oct to Dec 2012: 3 months - Study for Prelims

During these 4 months, read and study only for the topics that are covered in Prelims. In Mains, there are much more topics than Prelims; so compare the topics for both exams and do the preparation for Prelims by reading the notes you have already prepared during your preparation for Main exam (during last 10 months).

Jan 2013: Revision for Prelims.

This is ONLY a basic plan. I cannot spend much time on this here because of my busy schedule. The manual is nearing its completion.

There will be detailed Yearly/Half-Yearly/Quarterly/Monthly/Weekly/Daily study plans in the MPSC Success Mantra – The Complete Manual.

If you have not yet booked your copy of the manual, please do it urgently because I will be sending it personally to those who book it by paying the amount in advance and I am printing it only for these people. No body will get it anywhere in market. The manual will be sent by postal mail.

So this is your last chance to book the manual in advance to get your own copy else you will not get it as only limited copies are being printed.

To book it click HERE

If you have any doubts about the booking, you may call me any time at this number 8698277829 or 9987401168 between 9 AM to 2 AM (2 past Midnight). You may SMS if the number is busy, I will reply you back.

Good Luck friends.

Thank you very much for your passionate efforts which are really helping us all. I am very much looking forward to give this years attempt for UPSC and MPSC. I have a doubt regarding the eligibility of my caste . I belong to Hindu Kunabi caste. Is it eligible for UPSC or any other central govt jobs and even MPSC under OBC caste ?
    Thanks in anticipation.
