New syllabus for Rajyaseva Prelims has been introduced from 2013. Here it is : New Syllabus
Fast-Track Study Plan (4th April to 8th May 2010)
This study plan is for ONLY those candidates who could not start the preparation earlier due to their other academic exams, etc.
Since some aspiring candidates could not start their preparations due to their busy schedule and/or other academic exams; they now have 35 days left for the preparation of MPSC State Services Prelims Exam which is on 9th May 2010. This study plan is divided as Main Study Plan and Revision.
You must spend minimum 8 to 10 hours everyday. If you can study 12-16 hours everyday then you can easily cover each and every detail of the subjects.
My recommendation is between 10 hours minimum to 16 hours maximum, everyday.
I have allotted number of days to each subject according to its importance in the examination. You should plan your study accordingly.
Main Study Plan – 4th Apr to 30th Apr 2010 (27 Days)
| SUBJECT/TOPICS | DAYS TO BE ALLOTTED FOR PREPARATION | |
| Vidhnyan and Abhiyantriki (Science and Technology) | : | 05 Days |
| Vaanijya and Arthvyavastha (Commerce and Economics) | : | 05 Days |
| Bhugol (Geography) | : | 03 Days |
| Krushi (Agriculture) | : | 03 Days |
| Bhartiya Rajyapaddhati (Indian Polity) | : | 03 Days |
| Buddhimapan (Mental Ability) | : | 02 Days |
| Itihaas (Modern History) | : | 02 Days |
| Samaj Sudharak (Social Reformers) | : | 02 Days |
| Gram Prashasan (Village Administration) | : | 02 Days |
| Jagtik Ghadamodi (National and International) | : | 02 Hours everyday from 4th Apr to 30th April |
NOTE: Since Chaalu Ghadamodi is a vast topic and there is a lot to be read, you should spend about 2 hours everyday to cover this huge topic.
ALLOTMENT OF NUMBER OF DAYS FOR PREPARATION
April – 27 days should be divided as per my personal plan which is appended here for your ready reference. You may start with your favorite subjects according to your preference and interest in subjects/topics but please do not change the number of days allotted because of the importance given in the exam paper.
| From - To | Days | Subject / Topic |
| 4th Apr - 8th Apr | 5 | Vaanijya and Arthvyavastha (Commerce and Economics) |
| 9th Apr - 13th Apr | 5 | Vidhnyan and Abhiyantriki (Science and Technology) |
| 14th Apr - 16th Apr | 3 | Krushi (Agriculture) |
| 17th Apr - 19th Apr | 3 | Bhugol (Geography) |
| 20th Apr - 22nd Apr | 3 | Bhartiya Rajyapaddhati (Indian Polity) |
| 23rd Apr - 24th Apr | 2 | Gram Prashasan (Village Administration – Local Administration) |
| 25th Apr - 26th Apr | 2 | Itihaas (Modern History) |
| 27th Apr - 28th Apr | 2 | Samaj Sudharak (Social Reformers) |
| 29th Apr - 30th April | 2 | Buddhimapan (Mental Ability) |
| 4th April - 30 April | 2 Hours everyday | Jagtik Ghadamodi (Current Affairs – National and International) |
| Total Days Allotted | 27 |
During the above period while preparing, you must read carefully and make small notes on full-scale papers. Write in very small letters so that maximum notes can be written. You will need these notes for quick revision in May 2010. Do not write everything. You should read and understand everything and make very small (point-to-point notes) in 1 or 2 lines.
Since Chaalu Ghadamodi is a vast topic and there is a lot to be read, you should spend about 2 hours everyday to cover this huge topic.
All updated current affairs study material is available and can be downloaded from this URL: http://www.jeywin.com/study-material/
FINAL REVISION – 1st May – 7th May 2010
1st May – 7th May should be for revising your subjects’ notes. You must utilize whole day for study since all main points needs to be read for a given subject/topic during the whole day.
| Date | Hours | Subject / Topic |
| 1st May 2010 | 16 | Kala Ghatak |
| 2nd May 2010 | 16 | Vidhnyan & Abhiyantriki Ghatak |
| 3rd May 2010 | 16 | Vaanijya & Arthvyavastha Ghatak |
