1. HUID- आधारित हॉलमार्किंगची अंमलबजावणी प्रगतीपथावर आहे:

-“हॉलमार्किंग योजनेला मोठे यश मिळत असून 1 कोटीहून अधिक दागिन्यांचे अत्यंत शीघ्र गतीने हॉलमार्क चिन्हांकन पूर्ण झाले आहे.” – बीआयएस अर्थात भारतीय मानके विभागाच्या महासंचालकांनी एका पत्रकार परिषदेत भारतातील हॉलमार्किंगमध्ये होत असलेल्या प्रगतीबाबत माहिती दिली. 90,000 हून अधिक सराफांनी याच कालावधीत नोंदणी केली असल्याची माहितीही त्यांनी दिली.

– ज्या जिल्ह्यात एएचसी अर्थात मूल्यांकन आणि हॉलमार्किंग केंद्र   आहे, अशा केवळ 256 जिल्ह्यांतच हॉलमार्किंग अनिवार्य करण्यात आहे आहे.

– 20, 23 आणि 24 कॅरेटच्या सोन्याच्या दागिन्यांना हॉलमार्किंग करण्याची परवानगी आहे.

– त्याच शुद्धतेच्या विविध धातूंचे मिश्रण करुन तयार दागिन्यांना मंजूरी देण्यासाठी भारतीय मानक ब्यूरोच्या नियमात दुरुस्ती करण्यात आली आहे.

Implementation of HUID-based hallmarking is a work in progress:

– “Hallmarking scheme is turning out to be grand success with more than 1 crore pieces of Jewellery hallmarked in a quick time” – said Director General BIS while addressing a Press Conference on the subject of progress being made in the Hallmarking in India . He said that more than 90000 Jewellers have also registered in same time period.

– Hallmarking made mandatory only in 256 districts having an AHC..

– 20, 23 and 24 carats of gold jewellery allowed for hallmarking.

– Indian standard amended to allow hallmarking of small mixed lots of same purity.

2. कोकण 2021 सराव:

16 ऑगस्ट 21 रोजी इंग्लिश खाडीमध्ये आयएनएस तबर आणि एचएमएस वेस्टमिन्स्टर दरम्यान कोकण 2021 सरावाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. या सरावात दोन जहाजांचे हेलिकॉप्टर आणि फाल्कन इलेक्ट्रॉनिक लढाऊ विमाने सहभागी झाली होती. समन्वित पाणबुडीविरोधी प्रक्रिया, फायरिंग ड्रिल, एकत्रित सागरी सुरक्षा अवलोकन, लढाईचे डावपेच आणि समुद्रात पुनर्भरण यांसारखे विविध कार्यक्रम आयोजित केले होते.

EXERCISE KONKAN 2021:

Exercise Konkan 2021 was held between INS Tabar and HMS Westminster on 16 Aug 21 in the English Channel. The exercise included the participation of integral helicopters of the two ships   and the Falcon Electronic Warfare aircraft. A wide range of exercises including co-ordinated anti-submarine procedures, firing drills, combined maritime picture compilation, combat formation maneuvering and replenishment at sea were conducted.

3. देशातील सर्वात मोठा तरंगता सोलर पीव्ही प्रकल्प:

– नॅशनल थर्मल पॉवर कॉर्पोरेशन अर्थात राष्ट्रीय औष्णिक विद्युत महामंडळ लिमिटेडने आंध्र प्रदेशातील विशाखापट्टणम येथे त्याच्या सिंहाद्री औष्णिक विद्युत केंद्राच्या जलाशयावर 25 मेगावॅटचा सर्वात मोठा तरंगता  सोलर पीव्ही प्रकल्प उभारला आहे.

– 2018 मध्ये केंद्र  सरकारने अधिसूचित केलेल्या फ्लेक्सिबिलायझेशन योजनेअंतर्गत उभारला जाणारा  हा पहिला सौर प्रकल्प आहे.

– या फ्लोटिंग सोलर इंस्टॉलेशनची विशिष्ट रचना असून ते RW जलाशयात 75 एकरवर पसरलेले आहे. या फ्लोटिंग सौर प्रकल्पात 1 लाखांहून अधिक सौर पीव्ही मॉड्यूलमधून वीजनिर्मिती करण्याची क्षमता आहे.यामुळे  केवळ 7,000 कुटुंबांना वीज पुरवण्यात  मदत होणार  नाही तर या प्रकल्पामुळे दरवर्षी किमान 46,000 टन  इतके कार्बन डायॉक्साईड (CO2e ) उत्सर्जन  टाळता येईल.

– बंगालच्या उपसागरातून पाईपद्वारे  पाणी घेऊन   2,000 मेगावॅट वीजनिर्मिती करणारा  कोळसा आधारित सिंहाद्री स्टेशन हा पहिला औष्णिक विद्युत वीज प्रकल्प आहे जो . 20 वर्षाहून अधिक काळ हा प्रकल्प कार्यरत आहे.

Largest Floating Solar PV Project in the country:

– The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC ) Ltd,  has commissioned the largest floating solar PV project of 25MW on the reservoir of its Simhadri thermal station in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

– This is also the first solar project to be set up under the Flexibilisation Scheme, notified by the Government of India in 2018.

– The floating solar installation which has a unique anchoring design is spread over 75 acres in an RW reservoir. This floating solar project has the potential to generate electricity from more than 1 lakh solar PV modules. This would not only help to light around 7,000 households but also ensure at least 46,000 tons of CO2e are kept at arm’s length every year during the lifespan of this project. – The 2000MW coal-based Simhadri Station is the first power project to implement an open sea intake from the Bay of Bengal which has been functional for more than 20 years.
