1. महिलांनी विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञानमध्ये त्यांचा सहभाग वाढविण्यासाठी आव्हानांना सामोरे जाण्याची गरज तज्ञांनी व्यक्त केली:
   आंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिनाच्या भारत-जपान संयुक्त उत्सवात महिलांनी विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञानामध्ये त्यांचा सहभाग वाढविण्यासाठी होणाऱ्या आव्हानांना सामोरे जाण्याची गरज तज्ञांनी अधोरेखित केली.

“लैंगिक असमानता हा आंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्दा आहे आणि मोठ्या बहुपक्षीय आणि बहुरंगी प्लॅटफॉर्मवर बोलण्याची गरज आहे. या आंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिनाचे संयुक्त राष्ट्र थीम- ‘लीडरशिप मधील महिला’ या संदर्भात संदर्भ आणि सामग्री दोन्ही समजून घेणे आवश्यक आहे,’ असे किरण विभाग, डीआरएसटी, भारतीय दूतावास, टोकियो, सरकार. भारत, जपान विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञान एजन्सी, जपान सरकारच्या सहकार्याने आयोजित कार्यक्रमात जपानमध्ये भारताचे राजदूत श्री संजय कुमार वर्मा यांनी सांगितले.

Experts highlighted the need to address the challenges faced by women to increase their participation in science and technology at the India-Japan joint celebration of International Women’s Day.

“Gender inequality is an international issue and needs to be voiced in the larger multilateral and plurilateral platforms. The UN theme of this International Women’s day– ‘Women in Leadership’ needs to be understood both in its context and content,” said Shri Sanjay Kumar Verma, Ambassador of India to Japan at the programme co-organised by KIRAN Division, DST, Embassy of India, Tokyo, Govt. of India, Japan Science & Technology Agency, Govt of Japan.

2. गृहनिर्माण व शहरी व्यवहार मंत्रालय आंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिन साजरा केला.
   पीएमएवाय-यू च्या महिला लाभार्थींचा सन्मान.
   पीएमएवाय-यू अंतर्गत आतापर्यंत 111 लाख घरे मंजूर आहेत.
   73 लाख घरे भुसभुशीत; 43 लाखांहून अधिक वितरित केले.

गृहनिर्माण व शहरी कामकाज मंत्रालयाने (प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-शहरी (पीएमएवाय-यू)) महिला स्तरातील महिला लाभार्थी आणि विविध स्तरावर या योजनेशी संबंधित इतर महिलांच्या स्तुत्य प्रयत्नांचा गौरव आणि प्रकाश टाकण्यासाठी एक आभासी कार्यक्रम आयोजित केला. आंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिन 2021 च्या निमित्ताने काल हा कार्यक्रम आयोजित करण्यात आला होता.

ही योजना मुळात महिलांना सक्षम बनवते. पीएमएवाय (यू) अंतर्गत बांधलेली किंवा विकत घेतली गेलेली घरे घरातील महिला सदस्याच्या नावे किंवा संयुक्त नावाने प्रथम स्त्रियांच्या नावाने आहेत. पीएमएवाय (यू) अंतर्गत प्रत्येक घर शौचालय वीज आणि पाण्याचे कनेक्शन या मूलभूत नागरी सुविधांसह सुरक्षितता, सुरक्षा आणि जीवनाची प्रतिष्ठा सुनिश्चित करते.

पीएमएवाय (यू) अंमलबजावणीच्या सहाव्या वर्षात आहे. आतापर्यंत 112 लाख घरांच्या मूल्यांकित मागणीच्या विरोधात मंत्रालयाने 111 लाख घरे मंजूर केली आहेत; त्यापैकी 73 लाख बनत असून 43 लाखांहून अधिक वितरण झाले आहेत.

एखाद्या घरात प्रवेश करणे हे एखाद्या व्यक्तीच्या सामाजिक आणि आर्थिक कल्याण आणि प्रतिष्ठेचे प्राथमिक सूचक आहे. हे सत्य ओळखून मिशन महिलांच्या सक्षमीकरणाला घराची मालकी हमी देऊन प्रोत्साहन देते.

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) organised a virtual programme to honour and highlight the commendable endeavours of the women beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) and other women associated with the Scheme at various levels. The programme was organised yesterday on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021.

The Scheme, at its very core, empowers women. The houses constructed or acquired under PMAY(U) are in the name of the female member of the household or in joint name with lady’s name at first. Every house under PMAY(U) ensures safety, security and dignity of life, along with access to basic civic amenities like toilet electricity and water connection.

PMAY(U) is in its sixth year of implementation. So far, against the assessed demand of 112 lakh houses, the Ministry has sanctioned 111 lakh houses; out of which, 73 lakh are grounded and over 43 lakh have been delivered.

Access to a house is the primary indicator of social and economic well-being and dignity of a person. Recognising this fact, the Mission gives impetus to women empowerment through ensuring ownership of house.

पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आज व्हिडीओ कॉन्फरन्सद्वारे भारत आणि बांग्लादेश दरम्यान ‘मैत्री सेतु’ चे उद्घाटन केले. फेनी नदीवरील या पुलामुळे अगरतला भारतातील आंतरराष्ट्रीय समुद्र बंदराला सर्वात जवळचे शहर बनले आहे. एनएच -08 आणि एनएच -२० broad च्या विस्ताराशी संबंधित प्रकल्प जे समर्पित आहेत आणि ज्यासाठी पायाभरणी केली गेली आहे, त्यायोगे ईशान्य बंदराशी संपर्क जोडला जाईल, असे श्री. मोदी म्हणाले.

थांगा डारलॉंग, सत्याराम रेंग आणि बेनीचंद्र जामटिया या त्रिपुराची समृद्ध संस्कृती आणि साहित्याची सेवा करणारे लोकांचा सन्मान करण्याच्या संधीबद्दल पंतप्रधानांनी आनंद व्यक्त केला. प्रधान मंत्री वन धन योजनेंतर्गत बांबूवर आधारित स्थानिक कलेला चालना देण्यात येत असून स्थानिक आदिवासींना नवीन संधी उपलब्ध करुन दिल्या आहेत.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated ‘Maitri Setu’ between India and Bangladesh today through a video conference. Due to this bridge over Feni River Agartala will become the nearest city to an international sea port in India. Projects related to broadening of NH-08 and NH-208 which were dedicated and for which foundation stone was laid will strengthen the connectivity of the Northeast with the port, Shri Modi said.

The Prime Minister expressed happiness at the opportunity for honouring the people who have served the rich culture and literature of Tripura like Thanga Darlong, Satyaram Reang and Benichandra Jamatia. He noted that bamboo based local art is being promoted under Pradhanmantri Van Dhan Yojna, giving new opportunities to local tribes.
