- भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यात भाग घेतलेल्या महान व्यक्तींना पंतप्रधानांनी आदरांजली वाहिली:
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आज स्वातंत्र्य चळवळीतील सर्व स्वातंत्र्यसैनिक, चळवळ, उठाव आणि संघर्ष यांना आदरांजली वाहिली. त्यांनी चळवळी, संघर्ष आणि व्यक्तिमत्त्वांना विशेष आदरांजली वाहिली , ज्यांना भारताच्या गौरवशाली स्वातंत्र्यलढय़ातील कथेत योग्य ओळख मिळाली नाही. आज अहमदाबादच्या साबरमती आश्रमात स्वातंत्र्याचा अमृत महोत्सव (भारत @ 75) सुरू केल्यानंतर ते बोलत होते.
पंतप्रधानांनी कोल, खासी, संथाल, नागा, भिल्ल, मुंडा, सन्यासी, रामोशी, कित्तूर चळवळ, त्रावणकोर आंदोलन, बारडोली सत्याग्रह, चंपारण सत्याग्रह, संभलपूर, च्वार, बुंदेल आणि कुका उठाव आणि चळवळी यांचा उल्लेख केला.
पंतप्रधान म्हणाले, पूर्वेकडील चैतन्य महाप्रभु आणि श्रीमंत शंकर देव यांच्यासारख्या संतांनी समाजाला दिशा दिली आणि त्यांना लक्ष्यावर केंद्रित ठेवले. पश्चिमेकडे मीराबाई, एकनाथ, तुकाराम, रामदास आणि नरसी मेहता, उत्तरेत संत रामानंद, कबीरदास, गोस्वामी तुलसीदास, सूरदास, गुरु नानक देव, संत रायदास यांनी हे कार्य हाती घेतले. त्याचप्रमाणे दक्षिणेत माधवाचार्य, निंबारकाचार्य, वल्लभाचार्य आणि रामानुजाचार्य होते.
भक्ती कालखंडात मलिक मोहम्मद जयसी, रस खान, सूरदास, केशवदास आणि विद्यापती यांच्यासारख्या व्यक्तिमत्त्वांनी समाजाला दोष सुधारण्यासाठी प्रेरणा दिली, असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. स्वातंत्र्य चळवळीच्या देशव्यापी स्वरूपाला या व्यक्ती जबाबदार होत्या. पंतप्रधानांनी या नायक आणि नायिकांची चरित्रे लोकांपर्यंत नेण्याच्या गरजेवर भर दिला. या प्रेरणादायी कहाण्या आपल्या नवीन पिढ्यांना एकता आणि उद्दीष्टे साध्य करण्याच्या इच्छशक्तीचे बहुमूल्य धडे शिकवतील, असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.
PM pays tribute to the great personalities who participated in India’s freedom struggle:
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today paid tribute to all the freedom fighters, movements, uprising and struggle of the freedom movement. He specially paid homage to the movements, struggles and personalities who have not been duly recognized in the saga of the glorious freedom struggle of India. He was speaking after launching the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (India@75) at Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad today.
The Prime Minister noted Kol, Khasi, Santhal, Naga, Bhil, Munda, Sanyasi, Ramoshi, Kittur movement, Travancore movement, Bardoli Satyagrah, Champaran Satyagrah, Sambhalpur, Chuar, Bundel and Kuka uprisings and movements.
The Prime Minister said, in the East, saints like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Shrimant Sankara Dev gave direction to the society and kept them focussed on the goal. In the West, Meerabai, Eknath, Tukaram, Ramdas and Narsi Mehta, In North Sant Ramanand, Kabirdas, Goswami Tulsidas, Soordas, Guru Nanak Dev, Sant Raidas took up the mantle. Similarly, South had Madhvacharya, Nimbarkacharya, Vallabhacharya and Ramanujacharya.
The Prime Minister said during the Bhakti Period, personalities like Malik Mohammad Jayasi, Raskhan, Soordas, Keshavdas and Vidyapati inspired the society for reforming its defects. These personalities were responsible for the pan-India nature of the freedom Movement. The Prime Minister stressed the need to take the biographies of these heroes and heroines to the people. These inspiring stories will teach valuable lessons to our new generations about, unity and will to achieve goals, The Prime Minister concluded.

पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी आज अहमदाबाद इथे साबरमती आश्रमातून पदयात्रेला ( स्वातंत्र्य यात्रा) हिरवा झेंडा दाखवला. ‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ India@75 साठीच्या कार्यक्रमांचे उद्घाटनही पंतप्रधानांनी केले. India@75 साठी विविध सांस्कृतिक आणि डिजिटल उपक्रमांचे उद्घाटनही पंतप्रधानांनी केले.
साबरमती आश्रम इथे उपस्थिताना संबोधित करताना ‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ या 15 ऑगस्ट 2022 पूर्वी 75 आठवडे सुरु होणाऱ्या आणि 15 ऑगस्ट 2023 पर्यंत सुरु राहणाऱ्या कार्यक्रमाचे उद्घाटन त्यांनी केले. स्वातंत्र्यासाठी आयुष्य वेचणाऱ्या महात्मा गांधी आणि महान स्वातंत्र्य सैनिकांना पंतप्रधानांनी आदरांजली अर्पण केली.
स्वप्ने आणि कर्तव्ये यांची पूर्तता करताना प्रेरणा म्हणून स्वातंत्र्य लढा, 75 साठी कल्पना, 75 साठी कामगिरी, 75 साठी कृती, 75 साठी संकल्प या पाच स्तंभाचा मार्गदर्शक म्हणून त्यांनी पुनरुच्चार केला.
आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव म्हणजे स्वातंत्र्याच्या उर्जेचे अमृत, स्वातंत्र्य लढ्याच्या योद्ध्यांच्या स्फूर्तीचे , नव कल्पना आणि आत्मनिर्भरता आणि नव संकल्पांचे अमृत असे पंतप्रधानानी सांगितले.
मीठ या प्रतिकाविषयी बोलताना, मीठ हे केवळ मूल्याच्या आधारावर कधीच जोखले गेले नाही, भारतीयांसाठी मीठ म्हणजे प्रामाणिकता,विश्वास,निष्ठा,श्रम,समानता आणि आत्मनिर्भरता यांचे प्रतिक असल्याचे ते म्हणाले. त्या काळात मीठ हे भारतीयांच्या आत्म निर्भरतेचे प्रतिक होते.भारताच्या मुल्यांबरोबरच ब्रिटिशांनी स्वयं पूर्णतेची ही भावनाही दुखावल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. भारतीय जनतेला इंग्लंडहून येणाऱ्या मिठावर अवलंबून राहावे लागत असे. गांधीजीनी देशाची ही जुनी वेदना जाणली, जनतेच्या भावना जाणल्या आणि याचे चळवळीत रुपांतर झाले.
भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यासाठीची 1857 ची पहिली लढाई, महात्मा गांधीजींचे परदेशातून आगमन, सत्याग्रहाच्या सामर्थ्याचे देशाला स्मरण, संपूर्ण स्वराज्याची लोकमान्य टिळक यांनी दिलेली हाक, नेताजी सुभाषचंद्र बोस यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली आझाद हिंद सेनेचा दिल्ली मार्च आणि चलो दिल्ली ही घोषणा यासारख्या स्वातंत्र्य लढ्यातल्या महत्वाच्या घटनांचे स्मरण पंतप्रधानांनी केले.स्वतंत्र्य लढ्याची ही ज्योत, प्रत्येक दिशेने, प्रत्येक भागात सातत्याने धगधगती ठेवण्याचे कार्य देशातल्या आचार्य,संत आणि शिक्षकांनी केले.भक्ती चळवळीने स्वातंत्र्य आंदोलनासाठी देशव्यापी पाया सज्ज केला. चैतन्य महाप्रभू,रामकृष्ण परमहंस,श्रीमंत शंकर देव यासारख्या संतानी देशभरात स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यासाठी भक्कम पाया घातला. अशाच प्रकारे देशाच्या कानाकोपऱ्यातल्या संतानी देशाच्या जाणीवा जागृत करण्यासाठी योगदान दिले. कार्य केले. देशभरातल्या अगणित दलित,आदिवासी, महिला आणि युवकानी बलिदान दिले. तामिळनाडूमधल्या कोडी कथा कुमारन या 32 वर्षाच्या युवकाचा उल्लेख त्यांनी केला. ब्रिटीशांची गोळी लागूनही देशाचा ध्वज जमिनीवर पडू न देणाऱ्या कुमारन यांच्यासारख्या प्रकाशझोतात न आलेल्या नायकांचा त्यांनी उल्लेख केला. तामिळनाडूच्या वेलू नचीयार या ब्रिटीश राजवटीविरोधात लढा देणाऱ्या पहिल्या महाराणी होत्या.
आपल्या देशातल्या आदिवासी समाजाने आपले शौर्य आणि साहसाने परकीय राजवटीला सातत्याने जेरीला आणले. झारखंडमध्ये बिरसा मुंडा यांनी ब्रिटिशांना आव्हान दिले आणि मुर्मू बंधूनी संथाल चळवळीचा पाया घातला. ओडिशा मध्ये चक्र बिसोई यांनी ब्रिटिशांविरोधात लढा उभारला आणि लक्ष्मण नायक यांनी गांधीवादी पद्धतीने जागृती केली. प्रसिद्धीपासून दूर असलेल्या आंध्रप्रदेशच्या मन्यम विरूधू अलुरी सिराराम राजू यासारख्या नायकांचा त्यांनी उल्लेख केला. राजू यांनी रामपा चळवळीचा पाया घातला. देशाच्या लढ्यात योगदान देणारे, ब्रिटिशांविरोधात उभे राहणारे पासल्था खुंगचेरा, आसाम आणि ईशान्येकडच्या गोमधर कोनवर, लाचीत बोरफुकन, सेरात सिंग यांच्या योगदानाचा उल्लेखही त्यांनी केला. गुजरातमधल्या जंबूघोडा मध्ये नायक जमातीचे बलिदान, मानगड इथले शेकडो आदिवासींचे शिरकाण देश सदैव स्मरणात ठेवेल असे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.
प्रत्येक राज्यातला प्रत्येक प्रांतातला हा इतिहास जतन करण्याचे गेली सहा वर्षे जाणीवपूर्वक काम देश करत आहे. दांडी यात्रेशी संबंधित स्थळांच्या पुनरुज्जीवनाचे काम दोन वर्षापूर्वी पूर्ण झाले. देशाचे पहिले स्वतंत्र सरकार स्थापन केल्यानंतर नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस यांनी अंदमान मध्ये तिरंगा फडकवला त्या स्थळाचेही पुनरुज्जीवन करण्यात आले आहे. डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्याशी निगडीत ठिकाणांचा पंचतीर्थ म्हणून विकास करण्यात आला तर जालियानवाला बाग स्मारकाचा विकास करण्यात आल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
आपल्या कठोर परिश्रमाने आपण भारतात आणि भारताबाहेरही आपल्याला सिद्ध केल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले. आपले संविधान आणि लोकशाही परंपरेचा आपल्याला आभिमान आहे. लोकशाहीची माता असलेला भारत आपली लोकशाही अधिक बळकट करत आगेकूच करत आहे. भरतची कामगिरी आणि यश संपूर्ण मानवतेसाठी आशा दायी आहे. भारताच्या विकासाचा प्रवास हा आत्मनिर्भरतेवर आधारित असून संपूर्ण जगाच्या विकासाला गती देणारा असल्याचे पंतप्रधान म्हणाले.
आपल्या स्वातंत्र्य सैनिकांच्या इतिहासाचे दस्तावेजीकरण करण्यासाठीचे देशाचे प्रयत्न पूर्णत्वाला नेण्यासाठी युवा आणि विद्वानानी जबाबदारी स्वीकारण्याचे आवाहन त्यांनी केले. स्वातंत्र्य लढ्यातली कामगिरी जगासमोर मांडण्याचे आवाहन त्यांनी यावेळी केले. आपल्या इतिहासातल्या अनोख्या कहाण्या शोधून त्या मांडण्याचे आवाहन त्यांनी कला, साहित्य, चित्रपट जगात आणि डिजिटल माध्यमाशी निगडीत व्यक्तींना केले.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi flagged off the ‘Padyatra’ (Freedom March) from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad and inaugurated the curtain raiser activities of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ (India@75). He also launched various other cultural and digital initiatives for the India@75 celebrations.
Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav is a series of events to be organised by the Government of India to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence. The Mahotsav will be celebrated as a Jan-Utsav in the spirit of Jan-Bhagidari.
Addressing the gathering at Sabarmati Ashram, the Prime Minister noted the launch of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ 75 weeks before 15 August 2022 which will continue till 15 August, 2023. He paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and great personalities who laid down their lives in the freedom struggle.
The Prime Minister reiterated five pillars i.e. Freedom Struggle, Ideas at 75, Achievements at 75, Actions at 75 and Resolves at 75 as guiding force for moving forward keeping dreams and duties as inspiration.
The Prime Minister asserted that Azadi Amrit Mahotsav means elixir of energy of independence. It means elixir of inspirations of the warriors of freedom struggle; elixir of new ideas and pledges and nectar of Aatmnirbharta.
Talking about the symbol of salt, the Prime Minister said that salt was never valued on the basis of mere cost. For Indians, salt represents honesty, trust, loyalty, labour, equality and self reliance. He said at that time, salt was a symbol of India’s self-reliance. Along with the values of India, the British also hurt this self-reliance. People of India had to depend on salt coming from England. He said Gandhiji understood this chronic pain of the country, understood the pulse of the people and turned that into a movement.
The Prime Minister recalled the important moments in freedom struggle like the first war for Indian independence in 1857, Mahatma Gandhi’s return from abroad, reminding the nation of the power of Satyagraha, the call for complete independence by Lokmanya Tilak, the Delhi March of Azad Hind Fauj led by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and the slogan of Delhi Chalo. He added that the work of continuously awakening this flame of the freedom movement, in every direction, in every region, was done by our Acharyas, saints and teachers in every corner of the country. He said in a way, the Bhakti movement prepared the stage for the nationwide freedom movement. Saints like Chaitanya Mahaprabu, Ramakrishna Paramhans, Shrimant Shankar Dev created the bedrock of a countrywide freedom struggle. Similarly, saints from all corners contributed to the consciousness of the nation and freedom struggle. There are so many dalits, adivasis, women and youth from across the country who have done innumerable sacrifices. He noted the sacrifices of unsung heroes like Kodi Katha Kumaran, a 32-year-old man from Tamil Nadu, who did not let the country’s flag fall in the ground even while shot in the head by the British. Velu Nachiyar of Tamil Nadu who was the first Maharani who fought against the British rule.
The Prime Minister remarked that the tribal society of our country, with its valor and bravery continuously worked to bring foreign rule to its knees. In Jharkhand, Birsa Munda challenged the British and the Murmu brothers led the Santhal movement. In Odisha, Chakra Bisoi waged a fight against the British and Laxman Nayak spread awareness through Gandhian methods. He listed other unsung tribal heroes who fought against the British like Manyam Virudu Alluri Siraram Raju in Andhra Pradesh who led the Rampa movement and Pasaltha Khungchera who took on the British in the hills of Mizoram. He noted other freedom fighters from Assam and Northeast like Gomdhar Konwar, Lachit Borphukan and Serat Sing who have contributed to the independence of the country. He said the country will always remember the sacrifice of Nayak tribals in Jambughoda in Gujarat and the massacre of hundreds of tribals in Mangadh.
The Prime Minister said the country has been making a conscious effort for the last six years to preserve this history, in every state and every region. The revival of the site associated with the Dandi Yatra was completed two years ago. The site where Netaji Subhash hoisted the tricolor in Andaman after the formation of the country’s first independent government is also revived. He added that the islands of Andaman and Nicobar are named after the freedom struggle. He said that the places associated with Baba Saheb have been developed in the form of Panchtirtha, the memorial in Jallianwala Bagh and memorial of the Paika movement have also been developed.
The Prime Minister said we have proved ourselves with our hard work, both in India and abroad. We are proud of our Constitution and democratic traditions. He said India, the mother of democracy, is still moving ahead by strengthening democracy. He said that India’s achievements are giving hope to the entire humanity. He added that the development journey of India is filled with AatmaNirbharta and is going to give momentum to the development journey of the whole world.
The Prime Minister urged the youth and scholars to take the responsibility for fulfilling the efforts of the country in documenting the history of our freedom fighters. He urged them to showcase the achievements in the freedom movement to the world. He also urged the people associated with art, literature, theatrical world, film industry and digital entertainment, to explore the unique stories that are scattered in our past and bring them to life.

हा प्रकल्प “इन्व्हेस्ट इंडिया” एजन्सीच्या अंतर्गत आहे जो 2009 मध्ये भारत सरकारच्या उद्योग व वाणिज्य मंत्रालयाच्या उद्योग आणि अंतर्गत व्यापार विभागांतर्गत ना-नफा ना तोटा तत्त्वावरील उपक्रम म्हणून स्थापन केला गेला होता.

Government working on Atmanirbhar Niveshak Mitra portal to digitally facilitate investors:
“Invest India” focussing on sector-specific investor targeting and development of new partnerships to enable sustainable investments in India.
In order to further strengthen efforts to promote domestic investments, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry is in the process of finalising a dedicated digital portal “Atmanirbhar Niveshak Mitra” for handholding and facilitation, information dissemination, and facilitation of domestic investors. The portal is in testing phase and the final version will be ready for launch by 15th May 2021. The webpage will also be available in regional languages and mobile App in due course.
The portal will have a dedicated digital investment promotion and facilitation team at Invest India which will facilitate domestic investors to directly connect or request meetings with the Invest India experts and discuss their specific investment/ doing business related matters. It will digitally support investors throughout their doing business journey in India and help them getting all the information starting from finding an investment opportunity to exploring incentives & taxes applicable to their businesses, information and assistance for doing business in India, sources of funding, information on raw material availability, training, management requirement and tender information. This is one of the most significant digital initiative being undertaken to target the specific investor interests and ensure swift clearances & approvals throughout their doing business journey.
Special features of the Atmanirbhar Niveshak Mitra portal will be:

This Project is under the “Invest India” agency which was set up in 2009 as a non-profit venture under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
As the national investment promotion and facilitation agency, “Invest India” focuses on sector-specific investor targeting and development of new partnerships to enable sustainable investments in India. आर्थिक आणि व्यापार विषयक बाबींसंदर्भातील ब्रिक्स संपर्क गटाची (CGETI) पहिली बैठक भारताच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली दिनांक 9-11 मार्च 2021 रोजी संपन्न झाली. ब्राझील, रशिया, भारत, चीन आणि दक्षिण आफ्रिका या 5 देशांची संघटना असलेल्या ब्रिक्सची यंदाच्या वर्षासाठी संकल्पना आहे ब्रिक्स@15: ब्रिक्स देशांदरम्यान अखंडता, दृढता आणि सर्वसहमती यासाठी सहकार्य (BRICS@15:Intra BRICS Cooperation for Continuity Consolidation and Consensus)
भारताच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली ब्रिक्स आर्थिक आणि व्यापार विषयक बाबींसंदर्भातील ब्रिक्स संपर्क गटाच्या 2021 मधे होणाऱ्या कार्यक्रमांची दिनदर्शिका सादर करण्यात आली, ज्यात तातडीने पूर्ण होतील असे प्राध्यान्य क्षेत्र ठरवणे, सूक्ष्म, लघु आणि मध्यम उद्योग गोलमेज परीषद, सेवा सांख्यिकी कार्यशाळा तसेच ब्रिक्स व्यापार मेळावा यांचे वेळापत्रक आणि व्याप्ती निश्चित करणे यांचा समावेश होता. आर्थिक आणि व्यापार विषयक बाबींसंदर्भातील ब्रिक्स संपर्क गटाच्या भारत सरकारच्या अध्यक्षतेदरम्यान पूर्ण करता येतील अशा बाबीविषयीचे भारत सरकारच्या विविध संबंधित विभागांनी तयार केलेले सादरीकरण निरनिराळ्या सत्रांत प्रस्तावित केले.
या सादरीकरणात (i) रशियाच्या 2020 मधील ब्रिक्स अध्यक्षपदाच्या कालावधीत स्वीकारलेल्या ‘ब्रिक्स आर्थिक भागिदारी 2025 रणनीती’ या दस्तावेजावर आधारीत कृती आराखडा (ii) जागतिक व्यापार संघटनेच्या (WTO) ट्रिप्स (TRIPS) सवलत प्रस्तावासह बहुआयामीय व्यापार प्रणालीबाबत ब्रिक्स सहकार्य (iii) ई कॉमर्स प्रणालीतील ग्राहक संरक्षणासाठी चौकट तयार करणे (iv) शुल्करहित उपाययोजना ठराव यंत्रणा (v) स्वच्छता आणि शारिरीक आरोग्य स्वच्छता कार्य यंत्रणा SPS अनुवांशिक संसाधने आणि पारंपरिक ज्ञानाच्या संरक्षणासाठी सहकार्याची चौकट (vii) व्यावसायिक सेवा सहकार्यासाठी ब्रिक्सची संरचना
या पूर्ण होण्यायोग्य विषय/ बाबींवर आधारित सादरीकरण करण्यत आले. या प्रत्येक सादरीकरण सत्रानंतर त्यावरील अभिप्राय आणि प्रतिक्रिया सत्रे घेण्यात आली.
कोरोना विषयक सद्यस्थितीतही भारताने या गटासाठी दिलेला वेळ आणि अनुकूल अशा प्रकारे उपक्रमांचं नियोजन याविषयी ब्रिक्स भागीदार देशांनी भारताची प्रशंसा केली तसेच भारताने प्रस्तावित केलेल्या विविध उपक्रमांतून एकत्रपणे कार्य करायला ब्रिक्सच्या भागीदार देशांची सहमती दर्शविली. सप्टेंबर 2021 पर्यंत ब्रिक्स समूहातील देशांचे सहमती होईपर्यंत आंतरसत्रीय बैठका आयोजित करण्यात येणार आहेत.सीजीईटीआयसाठी कार्य करणारे अधिकारी जून 2021मधे होणाऱ्या 27 व्या सीजीईटीआयच्या अधिकृत स्तरावरील बैठकीसाठी कार्य करणे सुरू ठेवतील.
1st Meeting of the BRICS Contact Group on Economic and Trade Issues held:
The BRICS Contact Group on Economic and Trade Issues (CGETI) leads held their first meeting under India’s Chairship from 9-11 March 2021. The theme of BRICS this year is -“BRICS@15: Intra BRICS Cooperation for Continuity, Consolidation, and Consensus”.
India, under its Chairship in 2021, presented the calendar of events for BRICS CGETI 2021, which included the priority areas for deliverables, schedule and scope of the MSME roundtable conference workshop on Services Statistics, and the BRICS Trade Fair. This was followed by a series of presentations, scheduled in separate sessions, made by the concerned Departments of the Government of India on the proposed deliverables during India’s Chairship under the BRICS CGETI track.
The deliverables proposed are on (i) Action plan based on the document “Strategy for BRICS Economic Partnership 2025” adopted during Russian Presidency in 2020 (ii) BRICS Cooperation on Multilateral Trading system including cooperation for the TRIPS Waiver proposal at WTO; (iii) Framework for Consumer Protection in E-Commerce; (iv) Non-Tariff Measures (NTM) Resolution Mechanism; (v) Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary (SPS) Working Mechanism; (vi) Co-operation framework for protection of Genetic Resources and Traditional Knowledge; (vii) BRICS Framework on Co-operation in Professional Services. Each of these sessions was followed by detailed feedback sessions.
The BRICS partners appreciated the activities planned by India, being timely and relevant in the current context and expressed their support for working together on the various initiatives proposed by India. From now on till September, 2021, inter sessional deliberations will be carried out to reach a consensus amongst the BRICS countries. The BRICS officers tasked with CGETI would continue the work for the 27th official level CGETI meeting, scheduled to be held in June 2021.

Mera Ration mobile app launched today:
At present 32 States/UTs are covered under ONORC and integration of remaining 4 States/UTs is expected to be completed in next few months
Mera Ration mobile app will benefit especially those ration card holders who move to new areas for livelihoods.
The ONORC scheme is being implemented by the Department for the nation-wide portability of ration cards under National Food Security Act (NFSA). This system allows all NFSA beneficiaries, particularly migrant beneficiaries, to claim either full or part foodgrains from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) in the country through existing ration card with biometric/Aadhaar authentication in a seamless manner. The system also allows their family members back home, if any, to claim the balance foodgrains on same the ration card.
