  1. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav- Indian Navy@75:
    As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav (AKAM) to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence, commemorative visits are being undertaken by Indian Navy ships to foreign ports in every continent (except Antarctica). Details are as follows:-

Various activities and events are being planned at each of these ports by Indian Missions on 15 August 2022 during the visit by IN Ships. The most significant amongst these would be the hoisting of our tri colour onboard these ships in the presence of Indian diaspora and distinguished local dignitaries. This event is spread across six Continents, three Oceans and in six different Time Zones.
At London (UK), the crew of INS Tarangini would be paying homage to the Indian soldiers, who gave the supreme sacrifice during the two World Wars, at the Commonwealth Memorial gates. Similarly, a ceremonial wreath laying by the IN ship crew/ delegation is scheduled at Kranji War Memorial and the INA Marker at Singapore. At Mombassa (Kenya), the IN crew will participate in the inauguration of a commemorative pillar in the Battlefield area of Taita Taveta region where Indian soldier fought and sacrificed their lives whilst serving under East Africa campaign of World War – I. The commemorative events will also include battlefield tours, a mobile exhibition and a Light and Sound show at Fort Jesus highlighting the contribution of the Indian soldiers in WW-I as well as India’s struggle for independence.

स्वातंत्र्याचा अमृत महोत्सव – भारतीय नौदल@75:
भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्याची 75 वर्षे साजरी करण्यासाठी “स्वातंत्र्याचा अमृत महोत्सव” चा एक भाग म्हणून, भारतीय नौदलाच्या जहाजांद्वारे अंटार्क्टिका वगळता प्रत्येक खंडातील परदेशी बंदरांना भेट देण्याचा अभिनव उपक्रम राबविण्यात येत आहे.

15 ऑगस्ट 2022 रोजी भारतीय नौदलाच्या जहाजांच्या मोहिमांद्वारे या प्रत्येक बंदरावर विविध उपक्रम आणि कार्यक्रमांचे नियोजन केले जात आहे. यातील सर्वात लक्षणीय कार्यक्रम म्हणजे अनिवासी भारतीय आणि स्थानिक मान्यवरांच्या उपस्थितीत या जहाजांच्या डेकवर तिरंगा ध्वज फडकवून ध्वजवंदन करण्यात येणार आहे. हा कार्यक्रम सहा खंड, तीन महासागर आणि सहा वेगवेगळ्या टाइमझोन मध्ये आयोजित केला जाणार आहे.

युके भेटीदरम्यान भारतीय नौदलाच्या तरंगिणी जहाजावरील कर्मचारीवर्ग दोन जागतिक महायुद्धांमध्ये सर्वोच्च समर्पण करणाऱ्या भारतीय सैनिकांना लंडनमधील कॉमनवेल्थ मेमोरियल गेट्स येथे श्रद्धांजली अर्पण करतील. तसेच, भारतीय नौदलाचे कर्मचारी/ प्रतिनिधीमंडळ सिंगापूर येथील क्रांजी युद्ध स्मारक आणि भारतीय लष्करी स्मारक येथे पुष्पचक्र देखील अर्पण करतील. केनियातील मोंबासा येथे दिलेल्या भेटीदरम्यान भारतीय नौदलाचे जवान तैता तावेता प्रदेशातील युद्धभूमीवर उभारण्यात आलेल्या स्मृतीस्तंभाच्या उद्घाटन समारंभात भाग घेणार आहेत. पहिल्या जागतिक युद्धादरम्यान पूर्व आफ्रिका मोहिमेमध्ये सहभागी होऊन भारतीय सैनिकांनी या युद्धभूमीवर लढा दिला आणि प्राणार्पण केले होते. या आदरांजली कार्यक्रमांमध्ये युद्धभूमीला भेटी देणे, फिरते प्रदर्शन तसेच भारतीय सैनिकांनी पहिल्या जागतिक महायुद्धात तसेच भारतीय स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यात दिलेल्या महत्त्वपूर्ण योगदानाचे ठळकपणे सादरीकरण करणाऱ्या फोर्ट जिझस येथील ध्वनी-प्रकाश कार्यक्रमाचा समावेश आहे.

  1. CHIEF OF THE AIR STAFF FLIES INDIGENOUS AIRCRAFT AT BANGALORE:
    Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) was on a two day visit to Bangalore. He flew three indigenous platforms, Light Combat Aircraft (LCA)Tejas, Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) and Hindustan Turbo Trainer-40 (HTT-40), which are being inducted into IAF as part of its drive towards Atmanirbharta.

हवाई दल प्रमुखांनी बंगळुरू इथे भारतीय बनावटीच्या लढावू विमानातून केले उड्डाण:
हवाई दल पर प्रमुख, एअरमार्शल वी.आर. चौधरी, दोन दिवसांच्या बंगळुरू दौऱ्यावर गेले आहेत. इथे त्यांनी भारतीय बनावटीच्या तीन लढावू विमानांतून स्वतः विमान चालवत उड्डाण केले. यात, हलक्या वजनाचे काँबॅट लढावू विमान (LCA) तेजस, लाईट काँबॅट हेलिकॉप्टर हेलिकॉप्टर (LCH), आणि हिंदुस्तान ट्रेनर-40 (HTT-40), ही देशी बनावटीची विमाने, आत्मनिर्भर भारत मोहिमेचा भाग म्हणून आता भारतीय हवाई दलात, समाविष्ट करण्यात आली आहेत.

  1. Operation Yatri Suraksha:
    Railway Protection Force (RPF) is an Armed Force of the Union under Ministry of Railways entrusted with the responsibility of security of railway property, passenger area and passengers. With the aim of improving the security of passengers travelling by Indian Railways, RPF has launched a Pan-India Operation under the code name “Operation Yatri Suraksha”. As part of this initiative, several steps are being taken to provide foolproof security to passengers i.e. Train Escorting, visible presence on stations, Surveillance through CCTV, Surveillance on active criminals, collection of intelligence about the criminals and action thereupon, identifying black spots and crime prone trains/sections and enhancing security thereat among others to formulate an actionable strategy to reduce crime against passengers. Regular coordination is being made with all the stake holders and joint action is planned to improve passenger security regularly.

RPF’s objective is SEWA HI SANKALP.

ऑपरेशन यात्री सुरक्षा:
रेल्वे संरक्षण दल (RPF) हे रेल्वे मंत्रालयाच्या अंतर्गत केंद्राचे एक सशस्त्र दल आहे ज्यावर रेल्वे मालमत्ता, प्रवासी क्षेत्र आणि प्रवाशांच्या सुरक्षेची जबाबदारी सोपविली जाते. भारतीय रेल्वेने प्रवास करणार्‍या प्रवाशांची सुरक्षा सुधारण्याच्या उद्देशाने, RPF ने “ऑपरेशन यात्री सुरक्षा” या सांकेतिक नावाखाली संपूर्ण भारत ऑपरेशन सुरू केले आहे. या उपक्रमाचा एक भाग म्हणून, प्रवाशांना निर्दोष सुरक्षा प्रदान करण्यासाठी अनेक पावले उचलली जात आहेत जसे की ट्रेन एस्कॉर्टिंग, स्थानकांवर दृश्यमान उपस्थिती, सीसीटीव्हीद्वारे पाळत ठेवणे, सक्रिय गुन्हेगारांवर पाळत ठेवणे, गुन्हेगारांबद्दल गुप्त माहिती गोळा करणे आणि त्यावर कारवाई करणे, ब्लॅक स्पॉट्स आणि गुन्हे ओळखणे. प्रवण गाड्या/विभाग आणि तिथली सुरक्षा वाढवणे, प्रवाशांविरुद्ध गुन्हे कमी करण्यासाठी कृती करण्यायोग्य धोरण तयार करणे. सर्व भागधारकांशी नियमित समन्वय साधला जात आहे आणि प्रवाशांची सुरक्षा नियमितपणे सुधारण्यासाठी संयुक्त कारवाईचे नियोजन केले जात आहे.
