1. Vice President Calls Upon Governors To Act As A Guide To States:
   The Vice President, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu today called upon the governors to act as a ‘guide’ to states and see to it that the programmes funded by Government of India are properly implemented by the states. He said that the Office of a Governor is “neither an ornamental position nor a political position” and that their conduct should ‘set an example’ for the state administration.

राज्यपालांनी राज्याचे मार्गदर्शक म्हणून काम करत राहण्याचे उपराष्ट्रपतींचे आवाहन:
राज्यपालांनी राज्यांसाठी ‘मार्गदर्शक’ म्हणून काम करत राहण्याचे आणि भारत सरकारद्वारे निधी उपलब्ध करून दिलेले कार्यक्रम राज्यांकडून योग्यरित्या राबवले जातील याची काळजी घेण्याचे आवाहन उपराष्ट्रपती एम. वेंकय्या नायडू यांनी केले आहे. राज्यपालांचे कार्यालय हे “शोभेचे पदही नाही आणि राजकीय पदही नाही” आणि त्यांचे आचरण राज्य प्रशासनासाठी ‘आदर्श ‘ ठरले पाहिजे, असे त्यांनी सांगितले.

2. India’s Agricultural And Processed Food Products Exports Up By 14%:
   Continuing with the trend from the previous year, the exports of agricultural and processed food products rose by 14 percent in the first three months of the current Financial Year 2022-23 (April-June) compared to the corresponding period of FY 2021-22.

For the year 2022-23, the government had set an export target of USD 23.56 billion for the agricultural and processed food products basket under APEDA.

The rise in the export of agricultural and processed food products is the outcome government’s various initiatives taken for the export promotion of agricultural and processed food products such as organising B2B exhibitions in different countries, exploring new potential markets through product-specific and general marketing campaigns by the active involvement of Indian Embassies.The government has also taken several initiatives to promote products having registered geographical indications (GI) in India by organizing virtual Buyer Seller Meets on agricultural and food products with the United Arab Emirates and on GI products, including handicrafts with the USA.

चालू आर्थिक वर्षाच्या पहिल्या तीन महिन्यांत भारतातील कृषी आणि प्रक्रिया केलेल्या अन्न उत्पादनांची निर्यात 14% वाढ:
गेल्या वर्षाचा कल कायम ठेवत 2022-23 या चालू आर्थिक वर्षाच्या पहिल्या तिमाहीत (एप्रिल-जून), आर्थिक वर्ष 2021-22 च्या याच कालावधीच्या तुलनेत कृषी आणि प्रक्रिया केलेल्या अन्न उत्पादनांच्या निर्यातीत 14 टक्के वाढ झाली आहे.

2022-23 या वर्षासाठी, सरकारने अपेडा( APEDA-कृषी आणि प्रक्रिया केलेले अन्न उत्पादने निर्यात विकास प्राधिकरण) अंतर्गत कृषी आणि प्रक्रिया केलेल्या अन्न उत्पादनांच्या गटासाठी 23.56 अब्ज अमेरिकी डॉलर्स मूल्याएवढ्या निर्यातीचे लक्ष्य ठेवले होते.

कृषी आणि प्रक्रिया केलेल्या अन्न उत्पादनांच्या निर्यातीत झालेली वाढ हे कृषी आणि प्रक्रिया केलेल्या अन्न उत्पादनांच्या निर्यात प्रोत्साहनासाठी सरकारने केलेल्या विविध प्रयत्नांचा जसे की विविध देशांमध्ये B2B प्रदर्शने आयोजित करणे, उत्पादन-विशिष्ट आणि सामान्य विपणन मोहिमेद्वारे नवीन संभाव्य बाजारपेठांचा शोध घेणे, भारतीय दूतावासांचा सक्रिय सहभाग, यांचा परिणाम आहे. भारतामध्ये नोंदणीकृत भौगोलिक संकेतांक (GI) असलेल्या उत्पादनांना प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी सरकारने संयुक्त अरब अमिरातीसह आणि हस्तशिल्पांसह भौगोलिक संकेतांक असलेल्या उत्पादनांसाठी अमेरिकेसह खरेदीदार-विक्रेता यांच्या आभासी बैठका आयोजित करण्यासारखी अनेक पावले उचलली.

3. 22nd Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2022:
   Ministry of Culture, Government of India is celebrating India’s 75th year of Independence as Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. On this occasion, National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi is organizing a festival “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav- 22nd Bharat Rang Mahotsav, 2022 (Azadi Segment)” to remember and pay tribute to our freedom fighters, under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav 2022” from 16th July to 14th August 2022.

Addressing on the occasion , Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal stated that there are many unsung heroes of freedom struggle who have actively participated in the freedom movement, yet have been unable to become a part of our history of freedom struggle. Giving an example , he also mentioned that in the year 1913 in Maangarh, the tribes of that region have been brutally tortured and killed but it is not a well highlighted incident. The theatre activists and the National School of Drama should come forward to prepare plays based on those incidents switch should be performed across the country to make the citizens aware of such heroes and bring out their stories of bravery and courage, he added.

22 वा भारत रंग महोत्सव, (आझादी खंड):
केंद्रीय सांस्कृतिक व्यवहार मंत्रालय ‘आझादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ अर्थात देशाच्या स्वातंत्र्याच्या 75 वर्षानिमित्त नवी दिल्ली येथील राष्ट्रीय नाट्य संस्था (NSD) या संस्थेने “आझादी का अमृत महोत्सव – 22 वा भारत रंग महोत्सव, (आझादी खंड)” हा उत्सव, देशातील स्वातंत्र्यसैनिकांचे स्मरण करून त्यांना आदरांजली वाहण्यासाठी, 16 जुलै ते 14 ऑगस्ट 2022 दरम्यान आयोजित केला आहे.

याप्रसंगी संबोधित करताना अर्जुन राम मेघवाल म्हणाले की, स्वातंत्र्यलढ्यातील असे अनेक अज्ञात सैनिक आहेत ज्यांनी स्वातंत्र्य चळवळीत सक्रिय सहभाग घेतला, तरीही ते आपल्या स्वातंत्र्यलढ्याच्या इतिहासाचा भाग बनू शकले नाहीत. उदाहरण देताना त्यांनी नमूद केले की, सन 1913 मध्ये मानगढ मधील आदिवासींवर क्रूरपणे अत्याचार करून त्यांना ठार मारण्यात आले होते, परंतु या घटनेची इतिहास नोंद नाही. अशा घटना आणि वीरांची माहिती भारतीयांना व्हावी तसेच त्यांचे शौर्य आणि शौर्यगाथा जगासमोर याव्यात ,यावर आधारित नाटके तयार करण्यासाठी रंगमंच कार्यकर्ते आणि राष्ट्रीय नाट्य संस्था यांनी पुढे यावे आणि देशभरात यांचे नाट्य रुपांतरण सादर केले जावे, असेही ते म्हणाले.

4. INS SINDHUDHVAJ DECOMMISSIONED:
   INS Sindhudhvaj bid adieu to Indian Navy on Saturday, 16 Jul 2022, serving for a glorious period of 35 years.

The submarine crest depicts a gray colour nurse shark and the name means flag bearer at sea. Sindhudhvaj, as the name suggests, was the flag bearer of indigenisation and Indian Navy’s efforts towards achieving Atmanirbharta in the Russian built Sindhughosh class submarines throughout her journey in the navy. She had many a firsts to her credit including operationalisation of the indigenised sonar USHUS, Indigenised Satellite Communication systems Rukmani and MSS, Inertial Navigation System and Indigenised Torpedo Fire Control System.

She also successfully undertook mating and personnel transfer with Deep Submergence Rescue Vessel and only submarine to be awarded CNS Rolling trophy for Innovation by the Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.

‘आयएनएस सिंधुध्वज’ सेवामुक्त:
भारतीय नौदलात 35 वर्ष गौरवशाली सेवा बजावण्याऱ्या आयएनएस सिंधुध्वज पाणबुडीला शनिवारी, 16 जुलै 2022 रोजी सेवेतून निरोप देण्यात आला.

या पाणबुडीच्या अग्रभागी करड्या रंगाचा नर्स शार्क दर्शवण्यात आला आहे. नावाचा अर्थ समुद्रातील ध्वजवाहक किंवा अग्रणी असा आहे. नावाप्रमाणेच सिंधुध्वज ही स्वदेशीकरणातील अग्रणी होती. रशियन बनावटीच्या सिंधुघोष श्रेणीतील पाणबुड्यांमध्ये आत्मनिर्भरता साध्य करण्याच्या दिशेने भारतीय नौदलाने केलेल्या प्रयत्नांचे द्योतक सिंधुध्वज होती. स्वदेशी सोनार युएसएचयुएसचे कार्यान्वयन, स्वदेशी उपग्रह संवाद व्यवस्था रुक्मणी आणि एमएसएस जडत्वीय दिशादर्शन प्रणाली आणि पाणसुरूंगांमुळे लागणाऱ्या आगीवर नियंत्रण मिळवण्याची स्वदेशी यंत्रणा यासारख्या अनेक बाबींची प्रथम मानकरी सिंधुध्वज ठरली.

खोल समुद्रातील सुटकेसाठीचे जहाज सोबत असलेल्या या पाणबुडीने कार्मिक स्थानांतरण कार्यही यशस्वीरित्या पार पडले. अभिनवतेसाठी असलेला सीएनएस फिरता चषक पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते या पाणबुडीला प्राप्त झाला असून हा मान पटकावणारी ती एकमेव पाणबुडी आहे.
