Here is something you should understand.
Total number of aspirants may have:
- applied for the Prelims – 2 Lakh 30 Thousand due to the Objective exam pattern for Mains.
- appeared in the Prelims – 1 lakh to 1 lakh 25 thousand max
Cut – off depends on the vacancies (category wise), aspirants appeared and the marks obtained by them in Prelims. Out of this data, only vacancies are known to us. Remaining data in known only to MPSC. So its very difficult to calculate exact cut-offs in the absence of this data.
I have taken care to calculate the expected cut offs based on feedback from aspirants and my understanding. This is NOT official cut-off list. MPSC will release it at appropriate time.
The cut-offs may vary by 10 marks. For example, it may go down by 10 marks or up by 10 marks.
My advice to each and every aspirant is that (s)he should start preparation for Mains. Your hard work will not go in vain even if you fail to clear Prelims this year. Your preparation will be helpful for 2013. Our PGP strategy is this “Complete Main’s preparation even before the Prelims!!!”
But remember: – You MUST prepare from 30 to 40 books for Mains. Extensive reading and the preparation of Notes and lastly revision followed by Mock Tests. Join our PGP, its excellent and follows this strategy.

Dear sir… Good afternoon… As per ur cut off analysis i have already started my study for state services mains exam.. As per first key my score was 100 nd belongs frm SC Category(Male).. Bt sir according to final key 4 questions are cancelled.. Nd my score becomes 96 now.. According to ur view sir.. Can i hv chances for mains.. Coz.. I couldnt concentrete on study.. Pls rply as early as possible…

@Vasant, your score seems to be lower than expected cut-off. But be prepared for Mains 2013.
Hi sir, my MPSC Rajyaseva PRE-2012 score is 85.25. I am from NT-B category. Is there any chance to clear it……????? Please reply sir….!!
sir i got 95 mark in ssp, and my category is obc , so what is better option for me, and tell me possible result date of sate service pre 2012. thanks you……
@Rahul, your score is very low for SSP, better prepare for 2013 (start with Mains preparation).
