Today i.e. 20th Feb 2013, MPSC has declared the result of Rajyaseva Mains 2012.

Once again my expected cut offs are CORRECT.
MPSC has fixed cut-offs only for the categories in which more than 3 times of the allotted vacancies are available for Interview.
Those who have cleared the Mains, should fill-up the Preference form (for the choice of posts) available in their Profile on MPSC website by 5:30PM on 5th March 2013.
Interviews start from 6th Mar 2013 at Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Pune and Kolhapur.

What is cut off for General category??
@Rajat, no cut offs for Open category because the successful candidates are not more than 3 times of vacancies for Open category.
Sir , could u pls explain howcome succesful candidates are not 3 times the no. of vacancies for general category, MPSC must have fixed some cutoff above which candidates qualified for interview.
Also, if not official what in ur opinion is the cut-off for general category students.

@Rajat, I am pretty sure that Open category candidates have cleared the Mains and are called for Interview but since they are less than the norm of 3 times of allotted vacancies for Open category, no cut off has been given for them. If there were successful candidates from Open category i.e. more than 3 times of allotted vacancies then there would have been a cut off. You can confirm this from MPSC office #022-22102132.
Sir, does that means no open category candidate is selected for interview ?
Looking at the scores we can see that almost all candidates must have got only passing marks or just above that level and that too in all the 6 papers.

@Rajiv, no, it doesn’t mean that. Successful Open category candidates might be less than 3 times of allotted vacancies for Open category so all those who got 45% in each paper (from Open category) may have been called for Interview.

Doest this mean that, all those from Open category who have got Interview calls will be selected (if no. of vacancies are more than the shortlisted candidates), or is there any possibility of these seats getting transferred to this year’s (2013) Rajyaseva.

@Pradeep, not at all. Only those who qualify in the Interview will get selected. The unfilled vacancies will be transferred to this year’s exam.

@Dr Sharad, I have checked your account but they have not yet provided the Result in your account from where we can check the score, etc.
I think, it will be available by tomorrow then you can ask for retotalling.
Sir i hve cleared all subjects….and scored 288 bt my no.is not in the list…what shld i do?
