Here are details of the physical test for PSI Exam:
Total Marks: 100
You need to score minimum 50 marks out of 100 then only you will be called for Interview else no.
Total 4 events: For Men
1) Running : 50 Marks
- 800 meters (to be covered in 2 min 30 seconds) – 50 Marks
- 800 meters (if covered in 2 min 30 seconds – 2 min 40 seconds) – 44 Marks
- 800 meters (if covered in 2 min 40 seconds – 2 min 50 seconds) – 35 Marks
- 800 meters (if covered in 3 min 20 seconds – 3 min 30 seconds) – 12 Marks
- 800 meters (if covered in more than 3 min 30 seconds) – 00 Marks
2) 8 Pull Ups: 20 Marks (2.5 marks per pull up, i.e. 8 x 2.5 =20 marks)
3) Long Jump : 15 Marks (4.5 meters)
- if the jump is less than 2.5 meters then 0 marks
4) Shot Put (गोळा फेक weight- 7kg 260 gms) : 15 Marks
- Need to throw beyond 7.5 meters: 15 Marks
- If thrown less than 5 meters: 0 Marks
Total 3 events: For Women
1) Running : 40 Marks
- 200 meters
2) Walking: 40 Marks
- 3 Kms
3) Shot Put (गोळा फेक weight- 4kg) : 20 Marks

सर खेळाडू मधुन PSI साठी उंची मध्ये काही सवलात आहे का.माझी उंची 163.5cm आहे,तर खेळाडू मधुन उंची मध्ये सवलतीत किती उंची पाहिजे.plz reply

@Mahesh, no problem at all on your interview but the ‘Open university’ should be approved by UGC.

@Monika, yes, you can. For final result, marks of Main exam, Physical Test and Interview are taken into consideration.

@सैफुल्लाह, हो, त्यासाठी परवानगी घ्यावी लागते आणि दाढी ट्रिम करावी लागते. मोठी लांब दाढी असल्यास riot च्या वेळी कुणी ती ओढून तुमच्यावर कब्जा करू नये किंवा तुम्हाला त्रास होऊ नये हे त्यामागील कारण असू शकेल.पी एस आय जर side branch ला असेल तर स्पेशल परवानगी घेऊन काही दिवस ठेऊ शकतो परंतु executive मध्ये नाही।

@सैफुल्ला, दहावीचे प्रमाणपत्र, पदवी प्रमाणपत्र, जात प्रमाणपत्र, नॉन-क्रीमिलेयर, लहान कुटुंबाचे प्रतिज्ञापन, ओळखपत्र (आधार कार्ड किंवा निवडणूक आयोगाचे ओळखपत्र किंवा PAN Card किंवा ड्रायव्हिंग लायसेंस (स्मार्ट कार्ड) आणि त्याची एक छायांकित प्रत. याबाबत संपूर्ण माहितीसाठी एमपीएससी वेबवरील “उमेदवारांना सर्वसाधारण सूचना” ही पीडीएफ बघावी व त्यातील “२.३: महत्वाची सूचना” हे नक्कीच वाचायला विसरू नये.

@सागर, वय-१८, उंची ५.७ नुसार तुझं वजन साधारण ५२ ते ५४ किलो असायला पाहिजे. टेन्शन घेवू नकोस वजन वाढवता येईल आणि त्यात काहीच अडचण येत नाही. हा, जास्त असेल तर कमी करण्याची चिंता असते.
Sir what about knock knee for psi post?
@Irshad, knock knee severity will decide the selection (passing the medical test). If the person with this condition is able to run and perform normal functions of the legs, (s)he may pass the medical test but it depends on the medical board. I would suggest the affected person to get the problem checked by a Civil Surgeon and if it is possible, the doctor will recommend Osteotomy in which part of the bone will be surgically cut to allow realignment of the knees. Please get your knees checked well in advance.

@Pama, there are no such conditions for IAS. All you need to do is, clear all stages of UPSC Civil Services Exam, get a rank in the first 150 to get into IAS. However, you must also clear the medical test which is compulsory for everyone.

I have a colour vision problem ,but i have desire to go for an psi rather than civil servant is there any problem for that?
@Keshav, you should get your eyes checked from Civil Surgeon for the vision disability percentage, etc and then decide about it.
