सामान्य क्षमता चाचणी:
प्रश्नसंख्या – १०० एकूण गुण – १०० दर्जा – पदवी वेळ – १ तास प्रश्न स्वरूप – वस्तुनिष्ठ
१. चालू घडामोडी – जागतिक तसेच भारतातील
२. नागरिकशास्त्र – भारताच्या घटनेचा प्राथमिक अभ्यास, राज्य व्यवस्थापन (प्रशासन), गरम व्यवस्थापन (प्रशासन)
३. आधुनिक भारताचा विशेषत: महाराष्ट्राचा इतिहास
४. भूगोल (महाराष्ट्राच्या भूगोलाच्या विशेष संदर्भासह): पृथ्वी, जगातील विभाग, हवामान, अक्षांश-रेखांश, महाराष्ट्रातील जमिनीचे प्रकार, पर्जन्यमान, प्रमुख पिके, शहरे, नद्या, उद्योगधंदे, इत्यादी.
५. अर्थव्यवस्था – भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था – राष्ट्रीय उत्त्पन्न, शेती, उद्योग, परकीय व्यापार, बँकिंग, लोकसंख्या, दारिद्र्य , मुद्रा आणि राजकोषीय नीती इत्यादी.
शासकीय अर्थव्यवस्था – अर्थसंकल्प, लेखा, लेखा परीक्षण इत्यादी
६. सामान्य विज्ञान– भौतिकशास्त्र, रसायनशास्त्र, प्राणीशास्त्र, वनस्पतीशास्त्र व आरोग्यशास्त्र.

तसं माझ्या पण काही अडचणी आहे MPSC-PSI परीक्षेसाठी, ज्या साठी मी ६ ऑगस्ट २०१३ रोजी फॉर्म भरला आहे. मला कुठलं पुस्तक वापरता येईल जे मला पूर्ण परीक्षेची माहिती देवू शेकेल व अभ्यासासाठी सोपे जाईल.
साधारणतः मी कुठल्या गोष्टींवर जास्त भर देवू कि मला PSI परीक्षा सोपी जाईल.
माझे वय २३ वर्षी पूर्ण आहे आणि सध्या मी IT कंपनी मध्ये काम करतो आहे.
मी २०१३ वर्षी M.Sc. Computer Science उत्तीर्ण आहे, माझे सर्व शिक्षण हे Technology , Science & English मध्ये झाले आहे. तर मला थोडसं अवघड वाटलं हे वाचताना. मला माझ्या या फिल्ड मध्ये कुठल्या पदा साठी परीक्षा देत येईल का?

@Deepak, now both stages (Pre & Mains) are objective (except English n Marathi) so you can prepare in any medium and give the exam. There is no restriction on this 🙂
Sir.. In this PSI syllabus, there are only 5 social reformers. So is there any chance that mpsc would ask questions about other social-reformers too??
@Manisha, yes, MPSC may ask on other social reformers who were part of Indian National Movement.

@Amol, 1) Prelims – 300 marks, 2) Main – 400 marks, 3) Physical Test – 200 marks and 4) Interview – 75 marks. Merit is is based on 2) + 3) + 4).

I am applying for this year’s PSI pre-exams and i have already done registration and all the only question i am worried about is while entering the graduation information which marks do we have to enter there only the final years marks or aggregate marks for all three years.

@Digvijay, you need to prepare according to the syllabus of these exams. You have 2 yrs in your hands so use this precious time for serious preparation else you will repent it later. Complete entire syllabus and ONLY THEN solve question paper sets.

syllabus is not in the list of upsc exam.
@Dr. Bhushan, don’t worry. You can choose Public Admin and History or Geography or Sociology. If you join our pgp which can be completed from your home, we will send you 75 books, 5 monthly magazines for next 1 year,study plans for next 1 year, que papers n our excellent guidance via email tnroughout the year. If you are successful at UPSC then we will repay 50% fees. Refer to the Miracle 2012 page on the blog.

@Vijay, NO, if you wear spects then you are not eligible for PSI. Why dont you go for Rajyaseva exam (Dy Collector/Tehsildar, etc)?
