There are few questions about which there is lots of confusion among aspirants of the PSI Prelims 2012.
Here is clarification from our academy (not from MPSC).
PSI Prelims 2012 Question Paper Set A
Question #139 – Ans – 4 (Here is a fact that MPSC questions are based on latest facts. Rabdi Devi was CM for 3 times but NOW Nitish Kumar is CM so he is the LATEST (1st Term (3 March 2000 – 10 March 2000), 2nd Term (24 November 2005 – 24 November 2010), 3rd Term (26 November 2010 – Till Now) so Nitish Kumar is the most suitable answer.)
Question #135 – Ans- 4 (Goa is the smallest state in terms of Area )
Question #134 – Ans -4 (there are 35 Districts in Maharashtra but Mumbai City and Mumbai Suburban districts does not have Zilla Parishads so there are ONLY 33 ZPs in Maharashtra.)
Question #131 – Ans- all 4 answers are wrong (Apr 27 is International Sports Day )

@Chikkayya, if you are domicile of Maharashtra then only you can go for it.
who is president of UNO?
MPSC has showed that BAN KI MOON,
but he is the secretory general.
secretory general is not equivalent post to that of president.
@Avni, I have already clarified you in previous message. There might have been a confusion while setting the question paper. “Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser” is the President of General Assembly of UNO but his name does not figure in the question paper. However, Ban-Ki-Moon is the SG of UNO and must be the right answer. The person who set the question paper may have forgotten to differentiate between the two.

@Vishal, can you give me a link to my Interview? You can devote 4 to 5 hours everyday for 1 year for MPSC. You should read entire blog and then decide about joining our PGP which is most suitable to the working aspirants of MPSC. Please explore the “Courses” menu.

1) Is it possible to crack UPSC by doing job for me?
2) What is the role of coaching class in preparing for UPSC?
3) And how many hours i need to study for UPSC and MPSC?

@Rushikesh, 1) Yes, if you prepare for 1 year before the UPSC exam. 2) Our Miracle 2013 PGP will provide you study material, study plans, and ,in fact, will get your preparation done from you according to a schedule. Please read all links under the “Courses” menu. 3) You need to devote at least 4 to 6 hours everyday but you must manage your time very well for both exams.

@Sandeep, you may have a better chance if vacancies increase. But you can hope as there was 164 cut-off in 2010 for same vacancies. Prepare for Main exam as well as STI.
sir u’r doing very well job for encoreging the student, one thing what will be the gussing merit for psi 2012.
@Dr. Balaji, cut-off for open category could be around 210 – 220 but may go down if vacancoies increase.

@Saurabh, if it is “marks” then NO CHANCE but if it is “answers” then your score is 218 then you will clear Prelims.
