Total vacancies – 1090
Age : As on 1st Jul 2012: 19 to 33 yrs (38 for Reserved categories, SC/ST/OBC, etc)
Payscale: Rs.9,300 – 34, 800/- (Grade Pay 4300) + DA.

sir i want to give sti exam 2013 but i want to know that is there any physical test for this post, because i am not prepared for that.

mi hall ticket monday la sakali ghetale tar mal chikhali he centar milale.pan kahi karnane mazyakdu te kharab zale.mi te parat kadhayla gele tar maze exam center chikhali nasun shivajinagar milale mag mi exam konty centar var dyaychi.

sti prilimenary exam date saturday. why not sunday to take this exam.
@Amarnath, is this so important to conduct exam on Sunday and NOT on Saturday? There is other exam on Sunday so to avoid clash of exams, MPSC has scheduled STI Pre on Saturday.
sir,i have applied for STI prelims..and pay fees by challan and also update transaction ID..my profile showed FEES RECEIVED..i want to ask one question that in bank i gave only cahllan not the print of application along with it..So,is it neccesary to send print of application in bank…or it accept through online….print kadhne important aste kay?karan mazya profile madhe total accepte- 0 dakhawat aahe.if i aplied then it must show,total accept-1..m i right na sir…plz reply sir
@Priyanka, don’t do anything, your application is already submitted where it should be. Your fee is also received by MPSC. Just wait for the Hall Ticket that will be available 7 days before the exam. Concentrate on your exam preparation.

scheduled date of STI pre 2012 is 26th may,
it is Saturday on 26th, is it not necessary for them to have exams on sundays?
worried that if they reschedule it to Sunday ( 27th may),
As my exam for banking is scheduled on 27th may.

hello sir, some people says in 2012 only physics, chemistry, biology and maths for prelims exam and GK history total social studies , marathi and english for main exam…. is it right ???

@Pritam, ho, 0.25 per wrong answer (2 marks for 4 wrong answers).
1 mark for 4 wrong quests?
or it is 2 marks for 4 wrong quest?
as each quest contains 2 marks.
they have mentioned about deduction of “marks of one quest”
for the wrong answers of four quests.

i have applied STI prelim through UNRESERVED category (have not paid challan fees yet ).
As i belongs from NT category now want to reapply through same category, can i ?
if not then let me know, will be i able to apply for MAINS exam through NT category?
@Dilip, yes, you can do it by requesting through Feedback form and when they permit, apply again and pay the fees. No, you can’t claim at the time of Main exam. SO apply again for Prelims as I explained here.

Kindly Send Me Detailed Syllabus For STI Pre Exam 2012 As Its Currently Not Available on MPSC web site.
@Mahesh, everything is categorised on this blog and the syllabus is available under “MPSC STI” menu, why don’t you look for it? Why you people want spoon feeding?
