What is the process of document verification for a candidate pursuing post graduation and has submitted few certificates to his college.

@Rajendra, please refer the General Instructions pdf available on the MPSC website. You MUST produce the original documents along with Xerox copies at the time of documents verification when required by MPSC. If you fail to produce the originals, your candidature is likely to be cancelled. In your case, you should get the submitted certificates from your college by applying in writing for the above stated reason.
Hello sir,
I have lost my passing certificate but I have my final degree certificate and also have all other mark sheet. Is passing certificate necessary at the time of document verification or interview??
@Sachin, as far as I know, to prove your qualification, a passing certificate or original degree certificate along with mark sheets is enough. I think there won’t be any problem in your case. Please contact MPSC office for further clarification.

@Samarth, you can prepare for MPPSC but not MPSC.

@Shubham, only pass is needed, no minimum marks required for UPSC/MPSC.

@Edwin John, yes, Marathi is compulsory and one must be a domicile of Maharashtra. Go for UPSC Civil Services.
sir, how much height should be required for dy SP & is this criteria strictly check??
@Rekha, yes, it is strictly checked at the time of medical tests. You should have minimum height: 157cms (for women).
Hello sir My State service prelims exam fee is accepted also transaction id is updated but application is not accepted sa there is any kind of problem ..because tommorow is last date ..
@Shivaji, don’t you worry. Application acceptance takes time because it is a manual process.

for govt emp is it necessary to apply thro proper channel or direct appl will do..?
@Prashant, you SHOULD apply it online and then inform your department or concerned office about the exam, post, advertisement details and last date of form submission. Ask them to send a letter to MPSC within 30 days from the last date of form filling, in case they have an objection to your application. Also inform them that there is NO need for them to inform the MPSC office in case they DO NOT have any objection about your application.

Sir ,if you are aiming for a post of Deputy Collector what is the state rank required in the final merit list after all rounds are cleared?
How many vacancies are created for the post of Deputy Collector every year?
@Rahuk, Deputy Collector vacancies do not occur every year. For 2012 exam, there are 42 vacancies, so you will need to be in the Top 42 to become Deputy Collector.
So what is the top most post that Deputy collector can attain in his/her lifetime or How is this officer promoted during his services?
What are the other posts among which one can aim which are for class 1 and the rank expected for the same?

@Sharad, there is no need to choose optional subjects; the exam pattern is changed.

@Umesh, no, you can’t. Officially, you are allowed to appear for the exam during your final year. No worry, prepare for next 1 year and you will definitely succeed in your very first attempt in 2013.

@Ganesh, you can. You have to apply online at the mpsc website. You need to devote 4 to 6 hours everyday. To cover entire syllabus of Pre + Mains, you need 1 year.

@Sheetal, then start preparing for Marathi too. If you fail to get minimum qualifying marks in Marathi then you won’t be able to get through the entire exam process. It is a compulsory paper.

Sir,I have completed my BE (IT) this year.I wish to study for mpsc and upsc exams.Right now I m working in a company and it is not possible for me to give the exam this year.So i am planning to give exam next year.I haven’t started any preparation.How to study for the exams with my job?
@Sneha, yes, you can prepare for 2013 exam if you plan your studies very well during this one year starting RIGHT NOW. Please utilize this period because you can devote 2 to 3 hours everyday. Entire syllabus should be planned with day-to-day planning. Join our 2 yrs Web-PGP for MPSC or UPSC 2013 and we will get things done from you.
upsc 2013 mains pattern will changed as hinted by upsc chairman ……………..most possibility of cancellation of optionals and GS will widen with few topics from pub admn.
usc chairman gave hint about it .upsc has constituted panel to suggest changes for mains exam of upsc 2013.
