@मनोज, पूर्व परीक्षा देवू शकता परंतु एमपीएससी मुख्य परीक्षेसाठी अर्ज भरण्याच्या शेवटच्या तारखेपर्यंत तुमचा “ऑल क्लियर” रिझल्ट लागलेला असावा अन्यथा तुम्ही मुख्य परीक्षेसाठी अर्ज भरू शकत नाही.

@Rakesh, go to any bookshop and ask for NCERT translated books, you will get them. Few publications have done this.

@सचिन, तुमचा अभ्यास कुठे तरी कमी पडतोय. उदाहरणार्थ, राज्यसेवा अभ्यासक्रमानुसार जवळपास 70-75पुस्तकांचा सखोल अभ्यास करून स्वत:चे नोट्स बनवावेत. परीक्षेच्या एक वर्ष आधीपासूनच दररोज दोन-तीन वर्तमानपत्रे वाचून नोट्स काढावेत. महिन्याला पाच-सहा मासिके वाचून नोट्स काढावेत. खूप सराव प्रश्न पत्रिका सोडवाव्यात. मित्रा, दुसऱ्यांचे अनुकरण करून उठ-सुट पुण्याला/दिल्लीला जावून क्लास न करताच स्वत: सखोल अभ्यास करावा. एक ना एक दिवस सफलता मिळेलच. ही लिंक वाचावी म्हणजे कळेल कि अपयशाने खचून जात नसतात: http://www.abrahamlincolnonline.org/lincoln/education/failures.htm

@दीपक, मग तुम्ही मराठीतूनच पुस्तके का बर वाचून अभ्यास करत नाही? युपीएससी मध्ये मराठी माध्यम निवडल तर एकही शब्द इंग्रजीत चालणार नाही हे लक्षात ठेवावे. कंसात इंग्रजी शब्द – टेक्निकल टर्म फक्त असेल तरच मराठी शब्दापुढे कंसात लिहिलेलं चालेल. नाही, रिजनल भाषेचा निगेटिव्ह इफेक्ट नसतो.

@Santosh, preparation of entire syllabus takes at least 1 year so start right now for 2017 exam.
I belong to a lower middle class family from a small town brahmapuri in chandrapur district of maharashtra. I have completed my mechanical engineering from nagpur university. my college donot offered me with campus placements, somehow I managed to get a job at mumbai.. which I could hardly continue for one month due to hectic condictions and lack of interest. now I have no job. nor enough money to join any good coaching for competitive exams. I am always attracted towards civil Services and want to see myself as IPS. but I cant join any classes in delhi. due to lack of money.

@Junaid, you can try for free coaching offered at some govt institutes (Nagpur, Mumbai, Nashik, Pune, Aurangabad, etc) that have been established by Govt of India and Govt of Maharashtra. If you are selected for that, you will also get stipend.

@Rahul, you haven’t mentioned your academic qualification so that I could have suggested properly. In general, one needs to select a subject of one’s choice from the subjects (graduation/pg). If no subject can be considered from the degree/pg subjects then one should consider these while choosing an optional subject for CSE. 1. A subject of liking, 2. availability of study material for that subject, 3. have a look at the syllabus and question papers of last few years’ CSE, 4. anaylise subject based on these and from these popular subjects (History, Public Admin, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, etc).

@Amar, if it is a degree then you can go for UPSC Civil Services exam. Join a library that offers study material for this exam.

@Pratik, during long hours of preparation, take a break of 5 mins after EVERY 30 minutes. During these 5 minutes, get some fresh air, have 4 biscuits, a glass of water, stretch your hands and legs.

@Chaitanya, NEVER use capital letters for the entire message as it makes the rectangular text harder to read. Very important issues can also be expressed in lower case letters that can be read easily, ok?
Regarding optional subject, no optional subject is scoring. All you have to do is choose your favourite subject from graduation, collect sufficient study material, plan the preparation and then implement the plan. Devote minimum 4 to 6 hours everyday for 1 year. @Sandip, please remember, I do not say good words just to please someone. Be realistic with your life’s decision. By looking at your message, I would like to suggest that you go for MPSC and NOT for UPSC. Prepare for MPSC for one year and during this period, improve your English for UPSC. Build your base by clearing MPSC and then go for UPSC.
