Here is the schedule of exams being conducted by MPSC in 2012:

Please do not get confused about the words “Direct Entry”. There are two types of exams held by MPSC, 1. Direct entry exam for all candidates, and 2. Departmental exam for only THOSE candidates who are already in the lower rungs in the department and they can apply for this exam to improve their career. For example, a Police Constable can give departmental exam to become PSI.

i m appear in t.y.b.a .i have comleated my hotel management course of 1 year. now i m working in hotel industry for 9 hours . & i want to give m p s c exam in next year..my height is 4.8 so my question is for which post should i apply in mpsc exam ? what is the exam date for m p s c…? & which type of books shall i read ?where shold i get exam form & when? please let me know erlier as soon as possible.

@Nisha, you don’t have to apply for individual posts. You can apply for all posts except Police department related posts and Sales Tax posts where minimum height is required. You can apply for Rajyaseva, STI and Asst exams. Read “MPSC Exams in 2012” posts on this blog. You need to refer many books so get our eprospectus for complete list.

sir i have applied for sti prelims…i want to ask that is it necessary to submit a print of application along with the challan in the state bank..bcz i gave only challan in bank & update transaction ID….bt smbody told me that print of application is also important to submit in bank.i so worried sir,in my profile also total accepted-0 is displaying..plz reply
@Priya, no need to submit application in bank. If your account status shows Fee received then don’t you worry at all.
Sir , Today(07/05/2012) I have applied for Assistant Pre Exam -2012. And also paid fees in the bank , when I login to update transaction Id it shows me “Transaction Id does not match with bank records. Please check the bank challan and try again.”
Tomorrow(08/05/2012) is the last date.What can I do now ?

I have applied for the “STI” and “State Service Exam” of 2012 but i am so much confused about the dates of this examinations…
So can you please Gide me for the same so i can start planing for the same.

Sir,I have applied for MPSC State services preliminary exam online successfully and after that paid exam fees in SBI, Pondicherry branch (27/03/12). But,while updating Transaction ID,I am getting error as verification of payment of that date is pending from bank and Retry in couple of days. But, after two days, there is last date. So, Can I have any suggestion regarding this…?

@Aparna, it takes 48 hours for the Trans ID to get updated in the system. Fill the Feedback form to inform MPSC about the fee payment and try to update the Trans ID. If your account shows “Fee Received” then no worry, it is automatically updated.
Hello sir, I have completed BSL third year.. I want to know on the basis of BSL have i qualify for MPSC. Majhe ajun 2 varshe rahilet LLB complete karaila pan me ata BSL degree complete keli ae. plz reply me… I am too much confused..
@Sandip, yes, on the basis of a degree you can go for MPSC exams but continue with your LLB.
Sir i mean on the basis of BSL degree, will i qualify for the MPSC??
@Sandip, you are eligible for MPSC exam. If you work hard and prepare well then you can qualify any exam.
